The Horton volleyball team is in the midst of one of their best seasons in school history and they added to it this week by capturing the Northeast Kansas League title.
Horton finished off league play on Thursday night at Oskaloosa sweeping both Oskaloosa and Troy.
They lost only one league match winning 13 of 14 total against NEKL opponents and they have an overall record 26-12 which is the third best record in the Class 2A #1 Regional.
Horton has four key seniors that have led the charge in 2024 with Kamryn Kahbeah, Carly Hutfles, Lyttia Linck, and Piper Chartier.
They will await where they end up in the postseason with regional play coming up next for the Chargers.
