It’s been an up and down season to this point for the Perry Lecompton volleyball team as the Kaws are 18-16 overall and 3-6 in Big 7 League play.
The Kaws have turned it on as of late winning seven of their last eight matches including claiming the Atchison Invitational on Saturday with a 5-1 record led by senior and Grinnell College commit Jenna Keller.
Keller has been great for the Kaws all season long as she leads the team with 194 kills while recording 27 aces and boasting a 94 percent serve percentage.
She has also racked up 29 blocks on the season and leads the team with 247 total digs while recording four digs per set and nine digs per match.
Keller was an honorable mention all-Big 7 League selection a year ago which came a year after she was named a first team selection in 2017.
The Kaws and Keller will look to end the season strong with just two meets left in the regular season beginning Tuesday night as Perry Lecompton travels to Riverside for a triangular with the Cyclones and Holton.
