Koltyn Kaniper

Perry-Lecompton’s Koltyn Kaniper posted a monster defensive effort on Friday night in the Kaws 43-14 win over Jefferson West.
Koltyn tallied 17 tackles (9 solo), two tackles for loss, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. He also added a rushing touchdown on the other side of the ball.
Koltyn is among the state leaders in tackles this season with a total of 112 in six games. Koltyn was a first-team all-league selection last year in the Big 7 at the linebacker position.
Koltyn’s dedication to the game is well documented as he has never missed a day of summer conditioning in his high school career.
Head coach Mike Paramore on Koltyn: “Koltyn is playing at a high level this fall and has a great nose for the ball.”
Paramore adds that Koltyn spends a lot of time watching film and is always well prepared each week.
