Leah Renyer

It has been a year of nothing but success for Sabetha senior Leah Renyer who has captured a state volleyball championship, a runner-up finish at state basketball and now a dominant start to the track season.
Renyer continued her success last week at the Jeff West quad, as she captured three field event wins on the day winning the shot put discuss and javelin.
Those three wins came just a week after Renyer captured the javelin title at the Royal Valley Invitational with the javelin being far and away her best event.
She is looking to make it to state for the first time in track and field after last season she had her chance cut down with the cancellation of the spring season due to COVID-19.
Renyer has racked up plenty of accolades already this season as she was named all-league and all-state in volleyball, along with racking up the same awards on the basketball floor which included her hitting the game-winning shot in the state semifinals.
She has also recently decided to continue her basketball career at the next level as she signed her letter of intent two weeks ago to attend Kansas Wesleyan University.
Renyer will look to cap off her senior season with a trip to the state tournament with regionals coming up in just two short weeks.
