Jesse Greenly

Jesse Greenly has helped lead Atchison to an undefeated 7-0 record in Class 4A ahead of the regular season finale this week.

Atchison won at Perry Lecompton last Friday 34-22 where Jesse ran for 225 yards and three touchdowns while averaging nearly nine yards per carry.

In the game before against Highland Park, Jesse put on an absolute show where he ran for 335 yards and nine touchdowns in a 70-56 win.  

Jesse is on pace for All-State recognition as he is top five in the state in rushing yards in all classifications. He’s rushed for 1,324 yards, averaging nearly nine yards per carry with 31 total touchdowns (29 rushing, 2 receiving).

The Phoenix have already clinched a share of the Meadowlark Conference title and can win it outright this week with a win over KC Wyandotte.

Atchison is one of just three remaining unbeaten teams in Class 4A along with Chanute and Wamego.
