Austin Green

The Pleasant Ridge baseball team is off to a 4-0 start as they swept Troy and Marais Des Cygnes Valley last week. The games against Troy were close but the Rams outscored MD-CV in the two-game sweep 44-0.

Sophomore Austin Green posted huge numbers particularly in game one against MD-CV.

In that first game vs. MD-CV, Austin went a perfect 5 for 5 with three singles, one double and one triple while driving in nine runs.

Austin added a key hit and RBI in the one-run win against Troy in game two of that doubleheader.

In four games this season, Austin has a .467 batting average which is second best on the team. He tops the squad in both hits and RBI with seven and 11 respectively.

His coach says he has a great attitude and gives great effort. Austin is also solid in the classroom sporting a 3.32 GPA.
