The Doniphan County legion baseball team earned a 6-4 win over Holton on Friday night in a league contest. 

DC would score three runs in the second inning which included RBI's from Dustin Veach and Hayden Paolino. They would add three more in the third inning highlighted by a two-run home run from Logan Blevins. 

Holton would battle back with two runs in the fourth inning which included an RBI single from Weston Schultejans. Two bases loaded walks in the seventh inning added to the Holton run total but it wasn't enough to get the win. 

Veach was named the McDonald's of Hiawatha and Seneca player of the game pitching five innings with eight strikeouts while adding a single, double, and an RBI.
